1. SPDES Phase II Stormwater Management Permitting
a. MS4 Permit - Support to Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) for developing and implementing the Stormwater Phase II MS4 Permit including assistance with the six minimum measures. For the Ontario-Wayne Stormwater Coalition see Ontario-Wayne Stormwater Coalition. b. Construction Permit - Support to regulated entities in the implementation of Stormwater Phase II Construction Permit.
2. County Water Quality Coordinating Committees Support to, participate in and serve as a liaison to county water quality coordinating committees (WQCCs) within the region.
3. Stormwater and Floodplain Management Conduct planning, education, outreach and technical assistance activities related to improving overall stormwater and floodplain management in the region. G/FLRPC is committed to making the connection between stormwater management and floodplain management. G/FLRPC developed flood mitigation plans for 24 municipalities in Wyoming and Genesee Counties along with several all hazard mitigation plans. The public outreach developed for this process as well as the findings of the risk assessment and the action items can be made available through outreach and technical assistance to all municipalities in the region.
4. Water Resource Mapping, GIS, Data Collection and Management G/FLRPC has a history of developing and providing regional GIS coverages. G/FLRPC provides technical support and products to the region related to water resource mapping, GIS, and data collection and management. Activities include:

5. Watershed Planning and Watershed Plan Implementation G/FLRPC has a history of developing and/or working with watershed groups to develop watershed management processes and plans. Activities include:
a. Development of Watershed Plans: Various watershed groups seek our assistance in the area of watershed management planning. b. Implementation of Watershed Plans c. Encouraging Local Partnerships: All of the watershed management planning the G/FLRPC is involved in encourages local partnerships. d. Facilitating development of local ordinances within the watershed management planning process
6. Education and Outreach G/FLRPC provides water resources education and outreach through many avenues including specific water resources projects, the G/FLRPC Speakers Bureau, and the semi-annual Local Government Workshop.
