Arcade: A Strategic Plan for Downtown
The Village of Arcade and Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council have recognized that there are many compelling reasons why downtown commercial districts are important to the economic health and quality of life in the entire community. (to see some specific reasons, click here)
The Strategic Plan for Downtown is an action-oriented plan to improve the heart of the Arcade community, the village's downtown. It expands upon the 1996 Comprehensive Plan for the Town and Village of Arcade and is an addendum to that plan. It also coordinates with other planning and revitalization efforts currently underway, all while seeking a high degree of citizen input.
