Catherine became interested in urban/regional planning and GIS mapping as an undergraduate at SUNY Geneseo. These interests led her to the Geography graduate program at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Though her Master’s thesis explored the geographic variation in food access and availability for children, she has experience with a number of planning-related aspects including: transportation, geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping, research methods, and socioeconomic and demographic data.
