Genesee-Finger Lakes Economic Development Districts

Economic Development services include regional economic development coordination, revolving loan fund administration, community advocacy, strategic planning, impact analysis, community revitalization, infrastructure planning and client outreach.

Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is an overview and strategy for  the federally designated Economic Development District (EDD) that is provided annually.  This analysis examines economic trends by incorporating the most current data from state and federal sources and outlines the strategic economic development needs of the District.  The data includes emerging industries, industrial, manufacturing and service infrastructure, labor force and income and population trends. 

Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is a program that serves as gap financing to retain and expand small businesses un the Genesee/Finger Lakes Region.  By providing gap financing, the G/FLRPC advocates for facilities and promotes collaborations that specifically assist small businesses, thus broadly enhancing the economic potential in the region.  Relationship building, coordination and customer services are emphasized.

Technical Assistance is provided by G/FLRPC to support county and local economic development, planning and data initiatives on an as needed basis.  Assistance is provided in the form of information, data, planning and grant writing support.
